Auditions
There will usually be 2 audition days. You do not need to attend both day but can with director approval. After the first rehearsal I will let students know if they can join again. After each rehearsal time I will stay after for any student who wishes to hear any feedback on their audition.
Types of Auditions

Cold Read - Reading aloud from a script or text without preparation or rehearsal

Monologue - A long speech by a single character directed to the audience or an imaginary partner. Good Length is 1 min.

Dance Call - After singing or acting, performers are taught a short choreography combination to evaluate their movement skills, rhythm, and ability to learn quickly

Tech Crew Application
There is only 1 interview day after school. If you are in a theatre class interviews will be conducted in class, no need to stay after school unless we run out of time. Interview lasts about 5 - 10 minutes depending on how prepared the student is. Interviews are conducted through a sign up sheet located outside the theatre room (1125) by the Call Board. Stage Manager get selected out of the Productions Class. Prior to auditions.
