RESPECT

Respect is given to all in our classroom. We don’t have to agree to understand and show compassion.

SAFETY

Everyone deserves to feel physically & emotionally safe in the classroom. Things can and will feel scary, but nothing will be dangerous.

FUN
-
Learning can & should be fun! Remember to play and let yourself be silly. Don’t let embarrassment, fear, or pride get in the way of having fun.

PARTICIPATION

Be here on time & ready to work! Everyone is asked to participate and step out of their comfort zones to take risks!

ENGAGEMENT

No putdowns or name-calling will be tolerated. Cheating and plagiarism are also unacceptable. We grow and achieve as a team.

ETIQUETTE

Everyone should practice the best audience, rehearsal & performance etiquette. Professionalism is the role we follow.

Tool Consent
The equipment mentioned is an example, but not limited to, the type of equipment students will learn to use. Models and brands may vary. The theater director will supervise the use of tools. Students will receive a lesson on tool safety and proper use before being allowed to use them. Students in the Theatre Arts Programs are expected to follow all safety procedures. Safety is my number one priority so if I feel they are misusing the tool in any way that may cause harm or damage to themselves, other students, and/or school property they will be written up, reported to their AP, and be removed from the production. Please check the tools you DO NOT want your child to use.
Field Trips
Students must have form and any payment turned in to attend. Student cannot have any behavior disciplinary. Due to the volume of students enrolled in theatre field trips usually run on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in becoming a parent chaperone please reach out.
